Its becoming more obvious that Noreli is basically Gaela at this point.
Why would anyone risk an infestation on the ship to find out what causing the glumine outbreak to happen?
How is Noreli like Gaela? Aside from both of them being very smart, I don’t see the similarities. Also, like Noreli said, the rewards outweigh the risks. If they get a Glumine on the ship, they can study it, learn how they transform men into women, figure out if the process can be reversed to turn Taylor and Dayla back into men, and most importantly, figure out why the Glumine are doing this. They can’t figure out any of that stuff by just passively observing the Glumine. Scientists don’t figure things out by waiting for the answers to come to… Read more »
How is Noreli like Gaela? Aside from both of them being very smart, I don’t see the similarities. I have a feeling that Noreil wants to be turned into a woman, and is going the roundabout way. Remember how Galvin would try every way possible to get inflected with the gender cruse? I feel like that’s what Plasma is trying to do that right now. Also, like Noreli said, the rewards outweigh the risks. If they get a Glumine on the ship, they can study it, learn how they transform men into women, figure out if the process can be… Read more »
Plasma:
I am LITERALLY asking to be changed at this point. My science is bupkiss.
Reminds me or Galvin. Lmfao
You’ll also need to status it in a way that doesn’t knock out the Glumine, like paralysis or sleep.
They already know that the blue glumine have the same capability as the pink ones to transform other species gender to female for a potential mate and reproduce, only differences was the blue ones were not observed to show aggression or other actions to humanoid creatures unlike the pink glumine that mysteriously do not exist according to odyssey files.
Right now, they don’t seem to fully trust what they’ve learned from the ecology database. That’s what the database said, but that information could be incomplete or just incorrect. The database doesn’t say anything about pink Glumine or the device inside the Glumine. So why should they trust what the database says when it contradicts what they’ve seen? They need to verify what they read in the database with their own eyes before they can say whether or not the info in the database is valid. It’s the fourth step of the scientific method – experimenting to test the hypothesis.
Maybe the blue glumine have the ability to turn females into males ?? NAH … to over simplified.
wow capture a real glumine to study it . now that’s what i call real detailed plan plasma . i hope that plasma gets to carry out his plan . because this plan might just help them to understand what happened to the crewmates and the people of planet odyssey .
Finally, an unobstructed view of the information about the planet Odyssey. So here is what’s written on their screen:
Star System: Homer 1614
Moons: 3
Planetary Radius: 3.295 km
Surface Gravity: 0.4 g
Day Length: 28 Earth hours
Orbital Period: 252 Human Days
Former Population: 64,256
Current Population: 20

Probe launched.
+400 Palladium.
We were planning on doing weekly bonus lore pieces about Crossfire. They wouldn’t be comics, but were text written like those Mass Effect entries, mission logs, and character diaries about the events of the comic.
I even wrote three of them, but never published them. I’m not sure if people would be interested. The three test pieces I wrote were:
Mission Report, by Jackson about their previous mission.
Priminary Planet Report on Odyssey, by Noreli.
Simulated Age Vs Actual Age, by Arianne
Oh wow, that would be nice. That would be a great way to explain and explore more aspects of their universe without affecting the pacing of the story.
might as well post them to find out if people want to see them. 😛
I’m with Plasma there is so much that be learned from Glumine Blue that might help us to understand Glumine Pink.
