Given the dialogue when Plasma was going through the ecology database, this can’t be anything other than a Glumine. Even if there are differences between this creature and the Glumine in the database, there are way more similarities than differences. Both are monocellular organisms that come from the same planet and have the ability to transform males into females. From what Plasma said, it sounds like there’s no other creature in the known galaxy who matches that description. That’s really enough for me to say that this thing is a Glumine.
