Bullet or energy based weapons are useless against these types of creatures. They need to use either incendiary or cryo based weapons to destroy them in my opinion just like when batman use Mr. Freeze’s cryo tech to beat Clayface

I mean… we don’t know yet if that device inside of the Glumine is what causes them to be pink or allows them to feed off of electricity from non-organic sources. It could still be any number of things.

I’m of the opinion that the device is just boardcasting a signal to the Glumine’s body, forcing it to act a certain way. And that it allows someone or something to control the Glumine. But that the device isn’t granting them additional powers or abilities.

I think Plasma is getting the Glumine treatment next. His scientific curiosity is going to get the best of him.

Maybe what actually caused the disappearances of the Odyssey colonists is because of a gender reveal party that has gone horribly wrong…

They need to use incindiary weapons, like flame throwers.

Unless these weapons can pull that off, than yeah, they should of brought flame throwers.

Nah, it doesn’t seem like it works that way. According to the dialogue on this page, the Glumine eat electricity, not energy. The two are not the same thing. It’s similar to how there’s a big difference between fire and plasma. So as long as their energy weapons are not electrical-based, then they should harm the Glumine.

Hate to break it to you but electricity is a form of energy.

It is a form of energy, but there are different forms of energy. Just because the Glumine can absorb electricity does not suddenly mean that they can absorb all forms of energy. Just like how all poodles are dogs but not all dogs are poodles, all electricity is a form of energy but not all energy is electricity. And due to the wording, I don’t think the Glumine could absorb a blast of pure energy from one of their plasma guns.
