This particular comic, Crossfire, is entirely disconnected from the wider SapphireFoxx universe. I’m fairly sure it’s not the same literary universe at all, and also takes place thousands of years in the future.
So, you can read this comic from the start without needing any prior knowledge.
The same is *largely* true of the previous comic, Favors & Followers. That does take place in the established SFoxx universe, but there’s no magic involved at all, so there isn’t a lot of overlap.
we don’t know if Phantom got by without being changed sincewe don’y that much about his race as a whole.
One thing I still didn’t get: Can suits change color like Captain Marvels suit in the movie?
And why is Phantom returning with Rookies weapon? (Page 13) Rookie lost it mid-battle (Page 15). And Phantom was never on site, was he? Monkey uses the same model, but didn’t loose it. Phantom had a red sniper-rifle.
Hm… why do I get the feeling that “Phantom” is not to be trusted?
What if HE has something to do with those goo/slime aliens?
Could just be Phantom’s species isn’t compatible with gender transformations… He does kinda look like an Asari…
