Main reason the FBI is needed for cyber crime, Even if you are in the same state and city as the criminal the evidence might not be. You can lease server space anywhere in the world. And some countries have laws that may make it harder to obtain.

FBI eh? Reminds me of my uncle who talked to a woman over Facebook. She asked to see him, naked. She recorded footage then told him that he had to give her money or she would send the footage to all of his friends and family.

We went to the police and the police said “That’s a matter for facebook/the website you used, to deal with. We don’t deal with those matters. Report it to the company and they will take it from there.

What a difference, eh. I live in England BTW so maybe things are different over here.

But has he declared the proceeds, whether in cash or in kind, to the IRS? I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some form of tax to pay on it. Like a lot of things, the activity might be illegal but the government still wants its share of the proceeds.

You could be right, but if the rapist Turner can pay his way out of court, then any rich can.

I am not trying to be the spelling Police (or FBI) but dang that is some humorous typo/spellings in there. I look forward to your next post :-> .

Oh huh, I wasn’t expecting this level of realism, with all the stuff in this comic that stretched my suspension of disbelief.

Yeah, I’ve known people who faced cyber crimes, and they did indeed get redirected to the FBI.
