Cypher must be close to Luke / Lara to know him / her pretty well
Not necessarily. Cypher has hacked Luke’s phone previously. You can learn just about anything about a person by looking through their phone. It wouldn’t be hard to learn about his real name or Darren after seeing the text messages between him and Darren.
As no one else has ever seen Cypher I still think he is another persona of Luke/Lara but I am sure we wont find out for some time
Just a dumb note here but has anyone noticed the the cypher webcam is only showing black and white?
Cypher is certainly doing that deliberately. He doesn’t want Luke to get any other ideas about his true identity and having no color on his webcam helps mask his identity.
Just as Cypher admires Lara’s amazing body, Lara describes Cypher’s body as unbelievable and “picture perfect”. Maybe perhaps, too perfect to be true…
Is it possible, then, that Cypher is enhancing his body to look that ripped, perhaps by using Sili-Gel to appear more muscular? What if he’s not actually that perfect-looking in real life? That seems to be a possibility for me, though if this is true, then the suspect list would change quite drastically. What do you think?

What Luke/Lara sees could be a computer generated fake.
Cypher is either Karl or Stephen.
Karl is the only one I know of who has had access to Luke’s phone and has been in his room, so that would make sense to me…plus let’s not forget his reaction to finding out Luke/Lara was going out with Darren ?
