This is a non-magic comic. There are going to be no sorcerers or spells at all in this story. Also, perma-sili-gel does not exist yet during the events of Favors and Followers. That isn’t put on the market until 2021 or 2022, and this story takes place in 2020.

You really don’t get the point of this website, do you? Every single story on this website is about people’s genders swapping in one way or another. We come for the gender shenanigans. If Luke went back to being a man, then this would cease to be about the main draw for the website.
If you keep demanding that Luke stop pretending to be Lara, then I think you’re on the wrong website. Where’s the fun in Luke giving up being Lara?
In the Fairy Godmother comic, the male protagonist turned into his female counterpart yes but in the end he settled to stay in his male form. Only using the female form for work until It wasn’t needed. There isn’t a 100% change over rate of MTF
But Luke staying as Lara would be a change of pace tbh. Ollie, Chris, Phill, etc almost always just crossdress. lol
Oliver and Chris don’t crossdress. They have literal magical abilities that transform them into actual women. I even hesitate to call Phillip a crossdresser since he gave himself actual breasts and women’s hips. If any of them were crossdressers, they’d be using stuffing or prosthetics to make themselves look like women, and none of the characters you brought up did that.
Honestly, there are very few crossdressers on the site. Selina and Daisy are the only two I can think of off the top of my head.
One, in Godmother, Caroline was not a female version of himself. She was a completely different person. Olivia was Oliver’s female counterpart, not Caroline. Additionally, Oliver used Caroline for far more than just work. Second, you completely missed my point. I never once said anything about how the stories must have 100% change-over rate. There are plenty of stories on here where someone changes their gender, but by the end of the story, they go back to the way they were at the beginning.
