Gavin is a mixling ( half nonblood half sorcerer) just like Chris and Jessica Young.
He has to be immune this must be his “dark secret”
I think that the only way he doesn’t turn is if he was already cursed, thus making him immune. I think that since we haven’t encountered that yet it would be spicy, and probably a good time to introduce it to the story if it is going to exist.

Hes not coughing or sneezing. Everyone else who got sprayed has already transformed almost immediately. Height isnt consistent enough for that to be a change. Im gonna wait and see but i dont think he’s gonna transform
