It is possible that the gender curse lake (the gender curses from Alastair’s island were going into a stream that lead to a underground pathway to the lake) had unintentionally made contact with the soul fragments of the girl sorcerers that had died in the forest or the fragments made contact with mucus, blood, or sex juice of an infected individual that was in the forest. The bullies conducting their plan? Yes! This and Gavin might (by coincidence) run into Chase and Clarissa. I greatly predict the bullies’ plan will make Heather and Clarissa infected as well since among the main/recurring families, they are the only real women in their families to not be infected.

I hope it works but Alistair fixes things and allows the ones that want to stay as women to stay that way but still removes the curses from everyone.
Maybe Alastare is fixed and he can fix this mess after 11% of the people get infected.
