Without Kevlar most reporters have enough respect for guns to not approach a live fire situation. Someone could use some time at a shooting range.
Shirt missing in Panel 5 (lower left). DOH!
Maybe he put the shirt off again for the better feeling experience. You’ll never know. ๐
We know what the military said they would do if “Pond Monster” got loose. I wonder if Patient Zero (Zoey) will have a part to play in the resolution of the story short of nuking CI?
Your passion for journalism is admirable, Natalie, but you gotta be more careful. Remember what happened the last time you “need to know what’s going on”? You got caught and threatened to be put in a cell.
But, oh well, if you really insist, then better call for backup. Notify them of your location in case shit goes wrong. Last time, you were lucky that Shane’s dad was there, but now, you might not be so lucky anymore…
Remember this is the 80s… It’s payphone or nothing…
90’s actually and while cell phones exist, your point is still valid. Cell phones didnt start getting popular until the late 90’s and early 2000’s when they became more affordable to the average person
Yeah, that’s what I mean. Go to a payphone first before going to the gunfire zone. It may take some time though, compared to the modern era where cellphones are more common, but better safe than sorry.
Natalie has reporter’s intuition
As the newly formed couple are facing towards the depths of danger to find the truth

Yea with his big flashlight.
The thought of her being illuminated by his Big Flashlight is too funny, if you get me.
Oh, you’re thinking of that big flash-bang light he always carrier around? ๐
