10,000 to one?! No offense, but I don’t think that adds up. By doing the math, that means the global sorcerer/sorceress population would be roughly 760,000. If there are multiple large sorcerer cities across Earth, then the total population should AT LEAST be several million.
The interesting thing is that her population control method wouldn’t even work anymore with modern medical technology.

True but if the entirety of humanity was working on it, which would probably happen if something like her plan went through, then it would take a very short amount of time to finish that kind of medical technology.
