Ihope that this comic takes off with a good story line and a really good ? plot, that I have always come to expect from the Foxx.

Those are some weird backpacks for 1996.

Seems about right to me. Pokemon Red and Blue were released in in the US in Feb 1996, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles had already been popular for many years by then.

And Street Sharks ran from 1994-1997. I would like to think it was a mashup between TMNT and Street Sharks, but maybe it was just a coincidence.

Also I guess Alien part could be Biker Mice From Mars. It was a thing, and the 90’s is sorry. XD

I dunno, I feel like Chase’s dialogue was more like competitive friendly trash talk rather than being actively negative. I mean, everyone is smiling in those panels.

A lot of kids smile as they are bullied. Because it beats crying. Many learn that if they act like they aren’t being picked on, it wont be quite as bad. But that doesn’t change what it is.

We’ll see.

I have a feeling that what is going to happen to Cinder Isle is not magic but a disease epidemic.

A magic disease that mundane science cannot deal with!

An interesting theory on how the story may progress. The question is, though, is how it begins. Escaped test subjects, Aliens, Bio-weapon, Inter-dimensional beings… the possible causes of the epidemic could be larger than my thoughts.
