looks like oliver didn’t know that fragments of caroline’s soul is inside his body . but it wouldn’t be enough to bring her back to life.

Glad 2 B reading for the first time in 4days !
I thought that Oliver would B much more sympathetic when he knew the whole story about Caroline.

Damn i just noticed something in the first panel – Lorraine has that X-Ray vision that is sold in old times magazines and comics, where “if you buy these X-Ray vision glasses, you will be able to see through peoples clothes” so does that mean Witches and Warlocks are running those cons???

I am no zen master or anything even close, but the level of hate being thrown around is crazy. The amount of people wanting to condemn Lorraine is justified, in some respects, but that is if you take only a one sided view. Sure Lorraine has done a heinous thing to Oliver, i’m not excusing her actions or even wanting forgiveness for them {in terms of the story-line, because it is just a comic after all…} I try to look at things from different views in every situation, if i can, but i’m not saying anyone else has to or… Read more »

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!
Lorraine is an enemy who has turned. You can’t trust her until she’s proved she’s changed several times over.

Hey Lorraine, how about an “I’m sorry I am a maniacal bitch who lied and manipulated you for months. I’m sorry I tried to steal your life by tricking you into transforming into a weird replacement of my daughter. I’m sorry I am an utterly terrible human being not deserving of your forgiveness… but can I ask for it anyway?” God, why is everyone suddenly so soft on her? So she stopped short of murdering people outright to resurrect her daughter. She probably only did so because she didn’t have all the soul fragments. As far as I am concerned,… Read more »

Caroline died in Oliver’s arms and now that he knows the whole story despite what Lorraine
did to him Oliver will find it in his heart to forgive her. I would.

Desperate people tend to do rash and sometimes illogical acts to try and fix a problem they perceive. This act often has the wrong effect the individual is looking for. However, Loraine is not entirely evil. Hell, good and evil are nothing more than preconceptions perceived by the individual’s beliefs and values. What you would perceive as an evil act another views in the opposite way. The lines of good and evil especially get blurred on the battlefield. We all have the potential for good and bad. But I am getting too philosophical here…..

Desparate people do not wait a decade. There is no battlefield. Lorraine is evil and definitely unethical. She schemed for ten years to punish Oliver. He did not do anything wrong. I would be happy to not see Caroline again. Make Lorraine live the rest of her days out as a man… or if she is really repetentant she should give up her own body for her daughter’s soul.

I always think if Lorraine were Larry and Caroline were Carl would people be so forgiving… no they would not.

So your saying Lorraine is pure evil for turning Oliver into Caroline, and cannot be redeemed. And as a punishment to Lorraine you want to make her be someone she is not. WOW Lorraine also doesn’t seem like she is punishing Oliver, but just wanting her daughter to live again – Lorraine has done a HORRIBLE thing to Oliver but not for revenge, OUT OF DESPERATION. You want to condemn Lorraine for her actions, and in her story she lost a daughter tragically – no one thinks Lorraine did even close to the right – but losing a daughter was… Read more »

That was not really my point. My point was ten years is not desperation but calculated PRE-MEDITATION… it was not rash actions of a desperate woman but rather premeditated actions of a person, who has manipulated others for her own ends. She did not deserve to lose a daughter but her loss is no justification for what she did do to Oliver. She could have asked Oliver to help her, but did not. I think a fair fate for Lorraine would be for her give up her body so that her daughter could live. Should she not be punished for… Read more »

never said she did not deserve punishment or anything like that. Do you know and trauma is and the lingering effects it can have on someone… think PTSD it’s a buzz word for lingering trauma and can make people snap years and years later.

My point is more that people are willing to dole out punishments as bad as the crime they are condemning, which makes them almost as bad as the person they are condemning

I actually know combat veterans, 2 are close friends of mine. PTSD is very real. 1 of those friends has to be heavily sedated during most holidays where fireworks are used. He is a Vietnam veteran and fireworks will set him off. My other friend is my age and even he has trouble with PTSD during firework holidays. PTSD isn’t something that goes away. It only gets worse with age. Therapy can help to some degree. But in events as emotionally tragic as Loraine experienced, there is only so much that can help. PTSD is not a buzz word. It… Read more »

This isn’t a, for lack of better terms, a BL (boy love) or Yaoi (male homosexuals) site. Some male homosexuals would enjoy it but the bulk of the audience for that stuff is straight females. If this was such a site, straight guys would not be viewing and enjoying it. However, for straight females, Larry and Carl would be very cool, especially if at least one of them was androgynous looking, so the girls could identify with him.

SapphireFoxx IS a site that some lesbians enjoy but the majority of its viewers are either transgendered, transgendering or straight men indulging their fantasies of becoming a beautiful woman. Unless you are already a homosexual man, trying to learn to be attracted to men is going to be hard.

Sam, if the X-rated site is too slow to get running, why not hire some straight women and/or FtoM transgenders to write Yaoi cartoons and Animations. They could start by just switching genders in some of your most popular works. Then you set up a site called, oh, “RubyCatt” for that stuff.

Judging by your comment, you have never heard the song or saying “Love is a Battlefield.” Thire is indeed a battlefield here. The battle of love and wills. Oliver and Loraine are deffinately engaged in a battle of wills. The battle of love is that of 2 friends who love each other and that of a mother aching horribly for the lost love of her child. I agree with Steve Oz here. Loraine is suffering one of the worst punishments here, the loss of her daughter. She had a chance to bring a semblance of Caroline back, but screwed up… Read more »

No. Evil is evil. There is no point of view crap here. However people are never entirely good or evil, I get that. But Lorraine’s actions up to this point, lying, manipulation, mind control, memory theft, those are evil. Sometimes even evil acts can be done for the right reasons, like to save lives or prevent a disaster, but Lorraines actions are purely selfish. So there is no justifying them.

Now, where is that timeline of Foxxverse? Does it include Godmother? I want to know if Lorraine knows, or will know soon, about the Maker’s Game near disaster?

The timeline for the Sapphire Foxx world is on page 1 of Godmother. Godmother takes place well after Maker’s Game, all witches and warlocks should know about it. That time line has at least one error, Doing Business As seems to take place during Shifting Roomates. That’s odd because a fully shifted and mother of two Jaime is in DBA.
