I think Chris assumes Logan is working for Russell given his quotes about the dragon with the message here. He will learn this is not the case as Logan is actually trying to stop Russell from succeeding and save the trapped souls.
Reminds me of the pet dragon I had in a MMORPG. I was the rank 1 player on the server. My pet could one hit any full team in the game in PvP.
