Regarding the poll: A story that is set in a dream is fine. The issue most people have is when the writer doesn’t tell you it is a dream and then the twist at the end is that it was all a dream which makes the reader/viewer feel cheated because the promises made were unfulfilled. The “OR WAS IT!” moment is supposed to counter the breaking of the promise but usually comes off as cliched at this point. Yes, I do hate that “It was all a dream” reveal as well. If I did it, the viewer would know going into it that it’s a dream.
This idea reminds me of what ‘Dallas’ did several decades ago after they killed off Bobby, only to bring him back the next season, explaining the part of the previous season was a dream sequence. A lot of people were pissed at the show’s writers for doing that.
Man, this story is getting a little sad. I do love this story and how all of these characters have had SO much character development.
as I know this story is getting done from America the law in Australia is very strict on divorce now as you have to wait at least 12 months before you can do it here after major councilling but as this is a story I am quite enjoying I would let it slip just thought you like to know some divorce facts from here and I hope Eva find her love and she remains a woman
