So I’ve just found out a big screw up I’ve been doing.
A percentage of new users who sign up never get the activation email. This is fine because I can fix that issue as long as that person emails me through the ‘contact’ button on the bottom of the page. There are 8000 register users on the site now, and about 150 to 250 have emailed me about issues with signing up.
I’ve personally emailed each of these people to help them set up their accounts, but I’ve found a major problem. It turns out that when I’ve replied to each of those hundreds of emails, my responses were all directed to the site’s email address and NOT the actual person asking for help!
God, I was so pissed when I found out that was happening!
I’ve spent weeks trying to help hundreds of people sign up, and now I find out NONE of them ever received my response!
IF YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE USERS WHO NEVER GOT AN ACTIVATION EMAIL, or contacted me and never got a response, please email me at Th*************@gm***.com or use the contact button at the bottom of the page. Now that I’ve fixed that stupid redirect issue the contact button had, I will now be able to respond to you correctly.
So to the new users that have been effected by this stupid technical issue, I’m very sorry and I will help fix your account within 24 hours of you sending me an email.
what should I go in, l come from china
8,000 registered users?
I am impressed.
CONGRATULATIONS!
Yep, it’s really skyrocketed in the last few weeks. ^.^
Its great to find that it has been fixed, and that i was still able to get on despite the problem, does this mean all future emails will work?
Unfortunately no, this doesn’t fix the activation emails getting lost in the first place. It’s hard for me to say what is causing that, but I think it’s usually the person’s email just throwing it into the spam folder.
i would put in there to ensure you add (sa**********@sa**********.com or what ever it is)
to your trusted sources to ensure proper delivery.
